Groundbreaking Gala

MCH Group

On behalf of the Morrison Community Hospital Foundation Board of Directors, we would like to thank all 182 people who attended our groundbreaking celebration. We would also like to thank our emcee Gary Metivier for producing an inspirational video that captured the spirit of our hospital mission. (that video can be viewed on the Morrison Community Hospital Facebook page) We also want to thank State Representative Tony McCombie for her statistics highlighting the economic impact of the hospital expansion and her experience as mayor of Savanna on what happens when a community loses a hospital. Mary Black expressed her gratitude for the customer service training she received as a receptionist in our Radiology department in her pre-Super Wash days and the relationship she had with her boss Donna Bierman, who was in the audience. Finally, Susan Black-Beth summed everything up with the gratitude she has for her hometown and why people will want to financially support the hospital expansion. Many in the crowd opened their checkbooks and generously responded with checks and pledges totaling $83,319! We are overwhelmed. If you would like to meet with someone from our philanthropy team to see how you can financially partner with our hospital, feel free to contact Mick Welding at 815-772-5510 or
