Dr. Georgiev completed medical school at the Medical University in Sofia Bulgaria and a second degree at Idaho State University in Pocatello Idaho. He then completed Family Practice Residency at Idaho State University. He was awarded Teaching Faculty of the Year, University of Illinois, Dixon rural track residency in 2011. Dr. Georgiev is a Member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Physicians. Also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
